خلاصه داستان: داستان از آنجائی شروع میشه که رز سوار بر هواپیما از آمریکا به دیدار اقوام مادرش در ایران میره.
رز تک فرزند یک پدر آمریکائی و یک مادر ایرانی است که هر دو دار فانی را وداع گفته‌اند. رز در ۱۲ سالگی مادر خودش را از دست داده و مادر که به دلیل ازدواج با یک مرد آمریکائی برای همیشه از طرف خانواده خودش طرد شده بوده همیشه با اشک و آه از ایران یاد میکرده و تا آخرین لحظه حیاتش هم موفق به دیدار اقوامش نمیشه. پدر هم بعد از یک بیماری قلبی و .. فوت میکنه و از رز میخواد که به ایران برگرده و سراغ خانواده مادرش بره ....
پ.ن: خوب بالاخره تمامش کردم. بد نبود ولی به قشنگی کتاب هوس نبود به نظر من. یک جاهایی از داستان که مربوط به سامان پسر دائی رز بود کلی خنده‌دار بود و بی‌اختیار لبخند را به لبهای آدم می‌آورد.
